Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a knack for sales, helping customers find the perfect products to meet their needs. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Duties * Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their shopping needs. * Utilize phone etiquette to handle customer inquiries and provide information about products and services. * Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system. * Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by stocking merchandise and ensuring displays are well-presented. * Supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed. * Engage with customers to understand their preferences and recommend products that align with their interests. * Perform retail math calculations to assist customers with pricing inquiries and promotions. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the overall shopping experience. Experience * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. * Strong understanding of basic math principles to handle transactions effectively. * Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members. * Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, along with experience in supervising or training staff. * A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt in a dynamic retail environment are essential for success in this role.
