A reputable food distributor is seeking a motivated and dynamic Supermarket Sales Representative to join their team. This role is vital in maintaining and developing customer accounts, monitoring market conditions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
• Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, and uses.
• Recommend products to customers based on their needs and interests.
• Maintain and oversee customer accounts.
• Contact regular customers to demonstrate new products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
• Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems.
• Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.
• Negotiate details of contracts and payments and prepare sales contracts and order forms.
• Prepare sales budgets and reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Previous experience in Asian food sales/distribution industry preferred.
• College degree or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of Japanese language and business culture preferred.
• Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
