Dave Mungenast St Louis Honda is hiring a personable and motivated New-Vehicle Salesperson. The New-Vehicle Salesperson is responsible for selling new vehicles at dealership gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction standards. Other duties include: * Satisfying the transportation needs of new-vehicle purchasers. * Selling and delivering a minimum of 10 units per month. * Assisting customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses. * Explaining product performance, application, and benefits to prospects. * Offering test drives to all prospects. Following dealership procedure to obtain proper identification from customer prior to test drive. * Establishing personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity and devising a strategy to meet those goals. * Delivering vehicles to customers, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork. * Introducing customers to service department personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership's service department. * Maintaining an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business which contributes to customer satisfaction. * Maintaining a professional appearance. * Maintaining a clean, professional, and safe work environment. * Performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications: * Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record. * Must have basic computer knowledge and typing skills. * This position requires frequent walking, standing, and sitting as well as working indoors and outdoors under varying climate conditions. * At least one year of sales or vehicle sales experience. * Courteous, effective, and professional communication with customers and staff is required. * Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Pay is commission. Average of $50,000. the first year but possibility of $80,000-$200,000+ after experience and building of clientele.
