Performs a variety of customer service and stocking duties related to the receiving, sale, and delivery of parts and accessories that contribute to the efficient, safe, and profitable operation of the company. This role will provide complete door and hardware solutions to our walk-in customer base. We are looking for an experienced door and hardware salesperson or an individual looking to start in the industry with an opportunity to grow within our organization. Primary Responsibilities * Approach all tasks with a Safety-First mindset. * Maintain a positive, results-oriented attitude that promotes teamwork with peers, operations, other support functions, and customers. * Assist in driving door and hardware distribution sales for our counter business and developing new and existing customer relationships. * Aid customers with will-call, counter, and telephone sales by explaining products, providing information, answering questions, and providing excellent customer service. * Identify parts, provide price quotes, and information requested by the customer in a timely manner. * Continually develop knowledge base of parts and accessories available by each brand through reviewing manufacturers' catalogs. * Work as a liaison between customers and Sales Associates to expedite material orders and coordinate additional service needs. * Enter sales data, quotes, or other relevant information into inventory control system. * Check parts inventory for needed customer items in stock and initiate special orders if necessary. * Compile customer orders, verify materials against the sales order, and coordinate the shipment/pickup. * Follow prescribed cash, credit, and check processing procedures at the counter to complete customer sales. * Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices. * Perform operations such as shipping, receiving, and stocking of inventory. * Assist in keeping the counter area and parts department clean and orderly. * Other job duties as assigned. Education, Experience & Qualifications Minimum * High school diploma or GED * 1 year experience in counter sales * 1 year experience in customer service or sales environment Preferred * 2-4 years' experience in counter sales * ERP experience, Comsense is preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Shift: * 8 hour shift Ability to Commute: * Colorado Springs, CO 80903 (Required) Work Location: In person
