Job Overview Heritage Packaging is seeking an experienced Business Development Agent to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on generating new business, building customer relationships, and selling flexible packaging solutions to a variety of clients. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with strong communication skills and a background in technical sales. Responsibilities * Identify and develop new sales opportunities through outreach and lead generation tools (HubSpot, ZoomInfo, ThomasNet). * Respond to inquiries, meet with potential customers, and present company products and capabilities. * Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM system. * Collaborate with internal teams on sales campaigns and customer solutions. * Prepare and follow up on marketing and sample materials sent to prospects. * Gather technical specifications and samples from clients for quoting and estimating. * Provide weekly digital sales reports and participate in sales meetings. * Attend trade shows and represent the company as needed. * Stay up to date on industry trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Packaging Science, Business Administration, or Manufacturing. * 5+ years of experience in outside sales, preferably in flexible packaging. * Strong understanding of Mil-Standards and packaging performance specifications. * Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. * Familiarity with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred). * Must be self-driven, organized, and comfortable with travel and remote communications (Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
