Full description of the position
We are partnering with a leading transportation and logistics company to find a results-driven National Sales Executive. This role will focus on driving new business growth, establishing strong client relationships, and expanding the company's brokerage division. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, highly competitive, and eager to grow the company's customer base in a fast-paced environment. This position offers uncapped earning potential and the chance to make a significant impact on the company's success. This is a remote position in the Southeast. Key Responsibilities: * Prospect and secure new customers, with a strong focus on expanding the brokerage division. * Develop and nurture lasting relationships with shippers, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term business partnerships. * Negotiate competitive pricing and contracts, aligning with profitability goals while delivering customer value. * Collaborate with operations and carrier teams to ensure seamless service delivery and meet customer expectations. * Utilize CRM tools (Salesforce) to track sales activities, manage pipeline, and measure performance. * Stay current on market trends, customer needs, and industry changes to identify new business opportunities. * Drive revenue growth by identifying and closing new business opportunities while managing an efficient sales cycle. Qualifications: * Proven sales experience, preferably in freight brokerage or transportation sales (strong sales background required, freight experience a plus). * Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. * Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and a drive to meet and exceed targets. * Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player. * Resilience and determination - able to thrive in a competitive and fast-moving industry. * Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
