Moomin Shop Hawaii, is looking to hire Sales Associates to join our Moomin Family. We are looking for a smart and positive part-time sales person with a great personality to join our Moomin family at Ala Moana Center. Must be responsible, trustworthy and a team player with computer skills and aloha spirit. If you love to talk to people and have a passion for Moomin, this could be the job for you! Job Description * Provide the best possible shopping experience for all guests. * Meet and/or exceed sales targets * Standard opening and closing procedures. * Maintaining store standards and participate in merchandising of new product. * Maintaining/Enhancing current customer relationships. * Be able to work the following shifts: opening (9:30am - 3:30pm) & closing (3:00pm - 8:30pm) including nights/weekends/holidays * must be able to work mall hours All retail employees at Moomin Shop Hawaii are responsible for: * Driving top line store sales results and growing the business through action and productivity * Creating customer awareness of programs and promotions available to them to build customer loyalty, when applicable * Preparing for each shift by maintaining awareness of all sales, promotions, and applicable POS procedures * Taking initiative to recover and replenish merchandise, so it is available to sell * Assisting in housekeeping of sales floor and communicating maintenance issues * Keeping an awareness of, and building personal capability in, loss prevention * Supporting all activities related to providing a safe working environment * Understanding and demonstrating Company values Experience: * High School diploma or equivalent * 1-2 years retail experience and/or customer service * Japanese speaker a plus * love Moomin What we provide: * Flexible schedule * Employee Discount * a fun place to work Job Type: Part-time Pay: $17.50 per hour Shift: * Day shift * Evening shift Work Location: In person
