Candidates should be prepared to work on the busiest days of the year, including Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and the weeks leading up to Christmas. Qualifications : The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge , skill , and/or ability required. Education/Experience : At least one year of prior customer service experience required. Cash register experience preferred. Mathematical Ability : Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to compute percent. Experience with money handling and making change preferred. Manual Dexterity : Many aspects of this job require the use of fine- motor skills and detailed hand-eye coordination. Precision and control are required for tasks like removing price tags from flat surfaces, tying ribbons, and packaging coffee. Computer Skills : To perform this job successfully, an individual should have satisfactory typing skills, a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, and experience with a POS system such as Retail-Pro. Physical Activity : While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Employees are frequently required to stand; walk; sit; balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and lift up to 30 pounds.
