Here 's how you'll make an impact on the team: * Prospect and engage new clients in need of hydro-excavation and storm/sewer maintenance services * Reconnect with past clients to uncover new opportunities * Develop tailored estimates and proposals that align with client needs * Collaborate with marketing to support lead generation efforts * Deliver compelling service presentations and close complex deals * Foster long-term relationships that drive client retention and satisfaction * Travel throughout the Austin area to manage client relationships and support sales efforts * Monitor account activity and assist with receivables and collections * Analyze trends and sales data to refine strategies and improve performance Here 's what you'll need to be successful in this role: * 5+ years of B2B sales and business development experience in hydro-excavation, stormwater, utilities, or related environmental services * Minimum of 3 years in an outside sales role with a strong record of exceeding sales targets * Proficiency in creating estimates and navigating public and private bidding processes * Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and consultative selling skills * Analytical mindset and comfort using data to inform decision-making * Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams Here 's what else might help you out: * Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business, Environmental Services, or related field * Experience managing regional territories or working with municipal clients Pay Range: $80,000 - $90,000 annually Benefits That Matter to You: * NextDeavor offers health, vision and dental benefits for contract employees * Paid sick leave eligibility is contingent on state of residence * Optional 401k Plan (excludes employer match) * Opportunity to get your foot in the door at a well-established corporation, with potential for extended or permanent full-time employment (NextDeavor boasts an impressive conversion rate of approximately 70%)!
