Overview
RMA Sales is a locally owned wholesaler and fabricator of building materials, specializing in windows, doors, and security screen products. We are also licensed glazing subcontractors. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Accounting/Office Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and managing a variety of accounting functions. This role requires strong leadership skills, as well as proficiency in various accounting software and administrative tasks. The individual will play a critical role in maintaining our financial health while supporting strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and budgeting.
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports to management and stakeholders.
- Manage the month-end close process and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business decisions.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Prepare and administer payroll for a workforce of 20+ including certified payroll
- Administer insurance renewals and annual audits
- Utilize QuickBooks for financial tracking and reporting purposes.
- Inventory control to include costing and pricing calculations
- Human resource administration
- Responsible for all federal and state tax filings
- Contribute to the development of any new accounting systems and procedures Experience
- Proven experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a managerial capacity. Construction accounting experience is also preferable.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and budgeting practices.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software is essential.
- Experience with office management tasks and administrative duties.
- Proficiency in Excel (V Lookups and Pivot Tables)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
