Job description Commercial Sales Manager- CertaPro Painters of Colorado Springs CertaPro Painters of Colorado Springs is looking for someone to join our team as the Commercial Sales Manager in Colorado Springs and the surrounding areas. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Commercial Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving B2B sales initiatives, managing accounts, and developing strategies to expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical sales skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service while effectively managing their territory. We have a growing business and we need to add another high performing sales professional. CertaPro Painters is a leader in the residential and commercial painting industry nationally and locally. Our success has been built on the foundation of delivering certainty to our customers and employees. This sales role is amazing! It is full commission but the right person could make $100,000-$200,000 a year! This person would do both residential and commercial sales with the idea that the commercial sales would eventually be what this person does full time and they would be the backup for residential sales in our busiest spring and summer months in 2025. We want like-minded people who have the grit and determination to be the best. * There is still a lot of growth opportunity in the Colorado Springs market Job Responsibilitiesand Duties * Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders within your assigned territory. * Conduct thorough market analysis to identify new business opportunities and assess competitive landscape. * Utilize our proprietary technology to manage customer interactions, track sales activities, and report on performance metrics. * Deliver engaging demos to potential clients, showcasing the features and benefits of our company and our team. * Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns that resonate with your market segment. * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the sales process. * Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a seamless experience for clients. * Although we have existing customers who will provide repeat business, we need someone who is excited about identifying and introducing themselves to new commercial painting clients. Ideally, we would hire someone who wants to cultivate relationships with clients through networking and entertaining. . This person would also be someone who is excited to be on a full commission pay plan (with a floor for the first few months to help get them going). This is a sales job so we want hungry sales people who know how to close work. As mentioned previously, in the first year (2025) we would like to see this sales person do mostly commercial but also be available to handle residential sales when we are busy. Eventually this person would be a full time commercial sales representative. * Maintain our list of current commercial accounts * Win work. Close deals. Sell, sell, sell. * Initiate and Develop relationships and sell to new commercial clients - Property Managers, Facility Managers and Industrial Customers * Cold calling and field networking to seek new business in multi-family dwellings, hotels/hospitality, churches, schools, office buildings, health care centers, warehouses. Basically, anything that isn't a single family dwelling is commercial. * Participate in industry events and tradeshows * Diligent Customer Follow-Up & Follow Through * Set and hit sales goals * Create a detailed written proposal for all requests with accurate measurements and pricing * Ensure that our customers' needs and their expectations are clearly communicated and accurately documented on a written proposal. * Entertain clients with lunch and learns, happy hours, coffee drops, etc * Be willing to be field based and driving throughout the community daily. Necessary Qualifications and Requirements: * This role requires someone who lives in the Colorado Springs area. * A proven track record of sales success. * Exceptional communication skills with friendly, positive demeanor * Excellent Interpersonal skills * High attention to detail, strong work ethic * Strong written/verbal skills, to include proof-reading and basic math skills for estimating * Basic computer skills * Proven record of ability to set, meet and exceed goals * Sales experience necessary for success * Previous experience in the paint industry is NOT required or even needed but can help. We will provide a monthly salary for the first few months to help this person get going. The company has a lot of positive momentum in the commercial market and we need someone to come in to keep that momentum going and to find new clients. * The Commercial Sales Associate would make roughly 7-9% of the top line revenue sold. We believe Colorado Springs should be a $4,000,000+ commercial market. The earnings are not capped and the opportunity to make $120,000+ is available to the right, hungry sales professional. * Our paint partner Sherwin-Williams sells a lot of paint in the commercial market and they believe the market is growing. El Paso county is growing fast and the opportunity is there. * Once we do work with a client and show them how great we are, those clients continue to use us as house accounts forever.
