Job Title: Pre-Processor Location: Delta, Ohio Job Type: Full-Time Department: Pre-Processing About Us NRI Industrial Sales is a leading provider of industrial surplus solutions, specializing in asset recovery and sustainable reuse. With facilities across North America, we are committed to efficiency, safety, and responsible operations. Position Summary The Pre-Processor plays a key role in preparing incoming shipments for processing. This includes unpacking, identifying materials, staging scrap, tagging items, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace. The Pre-Processor will also support day-to-day operational needs and contribute to warehouse safety and productivity. Key Responsibilities * Unpack and examine incoming shipments to verify condition and contents * Identify and select appropriate cleaners for equipment based on material type * Sort, weigh, and stage scrap material appropriately * Tag and label all products being sent to production * Maintain inventory of supplies and submit supply orders for the department * Execute daily tasks and work orders provided by Leads or Managers * Ensure equipment and materials are placed in designated areas according to safety and organizational standards * Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively, including hammers, screwdrivers, drills, Sawzalls, and blowtorches * Operate forklifts (sit-down or stand-up), and other material handling equipment when required * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in accordance with OSHA and MSDS/SDS standards Qualifications & Skills * Previous warehouse or industrial experience preferred * Familiarity with hand and power tools * Ability to follow safety guidelines and work instructions * Basic understanding of material identification and cleaning products * Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods * Forklift certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain) * Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team Work Environment This position involves physical activity in a warehouse setting.
