CHALLENGE The Account Coordinator position is a critical link between our newest customers and the Commercial and Operational departments and acts as the on- site 'right-hand' to the Commercial team. The Account Coordinator is responsible for building new customer business relationships in order to provide total customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication and organizational skills to manage the account coordinator responsibilities effectively. As part of the Commercial team, this position engages with employees across the business, including R&D, warehouse, production and office areas. RESPONSIBILITIES * Supports clear and effective communication of customer expectations to the organization and demands accountability for performance to agreed-upon commitments. * Guides new customers through the whole Commercialization Process; account setup, product development, production trials (pilots), pricing, packaging development and certification requirements, and expectations for first production. * Independently, or as a team member, investigates and resolves customer concerns (delivery, price, quality, product and ingredient information, etc.) and takes ownership of problem resolution through a collaborative process. * Understands Product knowledge of each customer that AC represents. * Ensures customer requirements are summarized and understood. Provides follow-through to execution. * Coordinate sample requests, preparations and shipping. * Works with R&D and other departments to ensure Product development and Commercialization processes stay on timeline. * Is an active participant in customer visits to EMPWR USA Inc. * Works closely with the following departments to assure prompt responses to customer's inquiries: Research and Development, Quality Control, Packaging, Production, Shipping, Warehouse * Once a project is successfully commercialized and the new customer is on-boarded, the Account Coordinator co-ordinates the transfer of the customer to the Customer Service team for on-going management and service. QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred. * Three to six years of proven experience in account coordination, customer service, or a related role in a manufacturing environment * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. * Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
