Overview We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with clients in your designated territory. Your primary focus will be on driving sales growth through effective territory management, upselling, and direct sales strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Duties * Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads. * Communicates with customers and leads identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs. * Demonstrates the functions and utility of products and services to meet those needs. * Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sales. * Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest. * Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems. * Provides periodic territory sales forecast. * Continually gathers information on local competition and prevalent industry and business climate within the region; communicates information to management and others as needed. * Negotiates contracts and work agreements. * Ensures that all required client paperwork is complete, accurate, and submitted on time. * Attends and participates in business/trade events that impact business unit. * Attends and participates in team strategic sales meetings. * Performs other duties as assigned. Experience * Proven experience in outside sales or a related field is preferred. * Strong understanding of territory management principles and market dynamics. * Experience in retail sales, direct sales, or inside sales is a plus. * Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * A self-starter mentality with a drive for achieving results.
