Warehouse Auditor NRI Industrial Sales is one of the largest surplus industrial equipment suppliers in North America. At NRI Industrial Sales, safety is our priority. Our job sites have sanitation stations, and regular cleaning is undertaken to ensure the health of our workers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Demonstrated job duties and knowledge listed are sum for the job classification. Knowledge of all duties is to be cross functional but specific duties are assigned within available personnel. * Unpacks and examines incoming shipments * Load and unload, and stage outgoing trucks * Identify the proper cleaner needed for cleaning each piece of equipment * Responsible for sorting, weighing and staging scrap * Responsible for supply ordering for the pre-processing department * Train new employees for the following positions: General Labor, Pre-Processors & Dismantlers * Maintains Freight Tracking Sheet for incoming shipments * Conduct regular checks on all the warehouse machinery like power tools etc. * Execute daily work instructions received from Leads/Managers in a timely manner * Maintain a clean workstation to promote warehouse safety * Proper operation of equipment to safety and productivity requirements, including but not limited to: Hand Tools (hammer, screwdriver, wrench, etc)Power Tools (impacts, drills, sawzall. Blowtorch, etc)Reach - lift (Forklifts-sit-down or standup) * Tagging, labeling, and stocking of all supplies of the warehouse * Ensure all items are placed in the proper location, according to safety standards, to be processed * Responsible for keeping the SDS sheets available for review upon request of employees in shipping/inventory department * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Identify brand names, model numbers capacities and specifications on industrial parts * Utilize inventory systems to catalog parts and equipment * Understand the use of keywords to research and identify items efficiently * Research selling prices of used and surplus industrial prats and equipment online through various search engines * Accurately enter product specifications into the database * Communicate effectively with coworkers/managers to resolve production questions/issues SAFETY: * To maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards * Proper use of safety devices, as required (i.e.: Proper use of personal protective equipment) * Safe operation of all machinery, tools and equipment * Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse * Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety * Comply with OSHA and MSDS/SDS standards * EXPERIENCE * Previous experience with tools/power tools required * Forklift/Reach certification is required * Minimum of 6 months warehouse experience * Experience with industrial automation equipment, valves, pumps, motors, etc. * Experience in inventory management * Ability to understand how to accurately weigh and measure items EDUCATION * High school diploma or general education degree (GED)required COMPUTER SKILLS * To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Excel, Word, Google and Google Docs. WORK ENVIRONMENT * This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday.
