Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. * Provide knowledgeable product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits. * Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities. * Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. * Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, restocking merchandise as needed. * Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with professionalism. * Utilize phone etiquette to assist customers over the phone, providing information about products and services. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall store performance. Skills * Proven experience in sales, preferably in a retail environment. * Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customer bases. * Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in transactions. * Ability to conduct engaging product demos that effectively showcase items. * Proficiency in upselling techniques to increase average transaction value. * Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with customers over the phone. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members. * Familiarity with grocery store operations is advantageous but not required. * Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
