Overview

: We are looking for a results-oriented General Manager / Business Development Manager to lead our CNC operations and drive strategic growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing management, CNC machining processes, and business development. This is a hands-on leadership role with direct responsibility for operations, client acquisition, and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

: General Management:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the CNC shop, including production, quality control, safety, and workforce management.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
• Lead and mentor a team of machinists, technicians, and support staff.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and KPIs to ensure alignment with company goals.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Business Development:
• Identify new business opportunities and target markets to grow the customer base.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Collaborate with engineering and quoting teams to provide accurate and competitive bids.
• Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and customer meetings.
• Lead marketing and outreach strategies to increase brand visibility.

Requirements

:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in a leadership role within a CNC machine shop or manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of CNC machining, programming, tooling, and modern manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze and improve operational systems and workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred (but not mandatory with equivalent experience).
