Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail and customer service, with the ability to engage customers and drive sales. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for customers while ensuring that their shopping experience is enjoyable and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their needs.
• Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring proper cash handling practices.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to effectively upsell and enhance the customer experience.
• Assist in stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the sales floor.
• Handle customer inquiries via phone with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
• Supervise junior staff as needed, providing guidance and support in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills to accurately process transactions and manage cash handling.
• Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management and stock levels.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer interaction and relationship building.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
