Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm Saturdays 9am - 5pm Sundays 11am - 5pm * We are closed on Easter, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day & New Year's Day NO NIGHT SHIFTS! * May require some time before and after hours for planning, events and one team meeting per month. Qualifications: * Have a love of nature and particularly birds. * Friendly, outgoing disposition * Strong verbal and written communication skills * A flexible schedule and the ability to work weekends * Commitment to provide quality products, service, expertise and a high energy shopping experience * Be able to lift and carry bird seed up to 50 pounds repeatedly-carrying bird seed for our customers - a foundation of our service! * Be VERY detail-oriented and reliable. * Retail experience and excellent customer service skills * Ability to maintain good housekeeping standards to help present a clean and well-presented store. * Ability to multi-task and spend extended hours on your feet * Basic computer skills * Interest in backyard bird feeding but no experience with the hobby is necessary.
