Honolulu, HI Founded in 1921, Straub Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai'i. With over 200 physicians who are leaders in their fields, Straub provides its patients with diagnoses and treatments for more than 32 different medical specialties, including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, vascular and urology. Straub is home to the Pacific Region's only multidisciplinary burn treatment center. The hospital consistently brings new technologies and innovative medical practices to Hawai'i, such as minimally invasive cardiac surgery and total joint replacement. Our Gift Shop staff is committed to provide great guest service to the hospital community. Not only does our team maintain our Gift Shop well stocked with necessities and gifts, they create gift baskets, make flower and gift deliveries, and offer promotions on special occasions. If you have great customer service skills and would enjoy offering ideas for patients and their families who want to brighten someone's day with a gift, you could be our next Gift Shop Sales Clerk. Your responsibilities would include conducting sales transactions in the Gift Shop, helping customers find what they are looking for, and helping to stock and organize merchandise. We are looking for someone friendly and engaging who enjoys sales and public relations and shares our commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai'i's people. Preferred Qualifications: Six (6) months of experience in cashiering, sales, and/or inventory control.
