Job title: Sr. Facilities Design Analyst Job Location : 45 Barbour Pond, Wayne, NJ 07470 Job duties: Provide technical expertise and support to the Surgical Workflows Infection Control & Life Sciences Sales Team by preparing architectural layouts, proposing effective design solutions for new sales opportunities, and preparing sales quotes based on expert field feedback. Analyze design issues and suggest corrective actions. Accurately prepare 2D & 3D design layouts according to company design standards. Propose effective design solutions to meet project goals. Review and recommend improvements to existing designs. Address design related questions and concerns in a timely manner. Work independently by prioritizing, planning and executing several projects efficiently. Attend project meetings to discuss any issues and design ideas. Work with the sales team to develop accurate quotes based on proposed layouts. Accurately prepare Submittal Drawing Packages with detail provided by Project Management team. Stay current with latest developments in design technologies and techniques. Provide assistance and conduct training to team members when required. Develop a working knowledge of all products in current corporate portfolio. Conduct occasional visits to customer sites. Serve as a technical mentor to lower-level teammates in the areas of product knowledge, systems and tools, and hospital infrastructure as it pertains to equipment layout and placement.

Requirements

: Requires Bachelor's degree in Architectural Design or Engineering, or related field. 7 years of experience in a healthcare facility design industry or related. Requires skills and experience in the following: 5 years of AutoCAD and Revit drafting experience. 5 years of design experience with either product or building/facility. 5 years of demonstrated project management skills of complex projects. Demonstrated knowledge of and proficient in CRM platform using Salesforce. Intermediate skills using Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point. Expertise developing mechanical and/or electrical systems. Includes reading and design of technical and electrical specifications both on drawings and data specifications. Employer will allow remote/telecommuting throughout the U.S. Position requires travel up to 5% per year. Around once a month to customer sites as needed. Salary $90,000 - $100,000 / annual.
