Full description of the position

Genesis Datacom is looking for a self-driven and highly motivated individual to join our growing sales team. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: * Actively build and maintain relationships with customers across the state * Work with architects, engineers, general/electrical contractors, end-users, etc. to provide effective IP solutions that fit each project's needs * Effectively communicate and collaborate with the estimating team and project managers * Manage the sales cycle from proposal to job completion * Successfully complete continuous training to maintain knowledge of Genesis Datacom's solutions, services, partners and protocols * Provide sales reporting to Sales Manager and Vice President in a timely and consistent manner * Learn and maintain the Genesis Datacom standard throughout all customer interactions * Stay up to date with market and industry trends * Address customer needs in a timely and detailed manner * Prepare and attend project bids Requirements: * Minimum 3-years experience in sales or related position * Experience in commercial construction industry is preferred * Must acquire Arkansas Alarm License within 90 days of hire * Proficient in Word, Excel and similar softwares * Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu is preferred, but not required * Must be able to type a minimum of 40 words per minute * High School Diploma or equivalent required * Valid AR drivers license and excellent driving record * Must be able to pass Arkansas State Police background check and drug screening Base + commission range: $50,000 - $100,000 (dependent upon experience) * NOT a remote position - local candidates ONLY! *Honorably discharged or retired military personnel highly encouraged to apply!
