A day in the life: * You will consult customers on their insurance needs and match the correct coverages, products, and benefits to convert leads into customers. * Network to create a pool of prospective clients from various sources like social media, warm leads, using referrals, etc. * Establish customer relationships and follow up regarding their needs. * Work with a mentor agent to establish and meet marketing goals. * Attend training classes to hone your skills. * Learn day to day skills of being a small business owner Qualifications: This position will be a good fit for you if you are: * A motivated salesperson: When a lead comes in, you skillfully pick up the phone and use your expertise to turn prospects into happy, confident clients. * Property & Casualty licensed (we can help you navigate this process) * Successful in meeting sales goals (at least 1-2 years of sales experience) * Excellent in communication skills - written, verbal, and listening. * A confident self-starter who works well independently * Comfortable dealing with a high volume of outbound and inbound phone activity. * Enjoys being on a team and contributing to the success of others. * Able to complete licensing prior to training (unless already licensed) * Able to complete and pass a background check. Preferred Skills and Abilities: * Experienced in sales and marketing. * Knowledge and familiarity with the Insurance industry * Proficient in Microsoft products (or quick to learn new systems) Compensation Package: * $26 per hour depending on licensing, skills, and experience. * Also commission and bonus incentives * Paid training. * Major holidays off * Medical benefits available * Ongoing individual training and development * Company provided qualified leads + all the tools you will need to be successful!
