Operations/Sales Assistant: Are you a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional who thrives in a dynamic environment? A leading stone distributor in Austin, TX , is seeking a Operations/Sales Assistant to play a key role in supporting our showroom, outside sales team, and delivery operations. This position requires a proactive individual who can organize daily deliveries, verify orders, manage inventory, and provide top-notch customer service while working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

: Delivery & Logistics Coordination

• Organize daily delivery schedules based on geographic efficiency.
• Ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely shipments.
• Verify inventory levels and order accuracy before dispatch. Sales & Showroom Support
• Assist showroom staff with sample requests and customer inquiries.
• Pull and prepare slab samples for customers and the outside sales team.
• Provide product information and support customers in selecting materials. Inventory & Operations Assistance
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist in stock management.
• Help track and organize samples, slabs, and product displays.
• Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to ensure seamless operations.

Preferred Qualifications

:

• Previous customer service or sales assistant experience (retail, showroom, or inside sales a plus).
• Some experience with inventory management or operations/logistics.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
