Job Summary_______________________ The Sales Manager-Murray is responsible for the sales policies, objectives, and initiatives of Murray products and services within the U.S. and Canada. Ensuring consistent, profitable sales growth through planning, deployment and management of sales strategies and resources, the Sales Manager-Murray sets short- and long-term sales strategies and evaluate effectiveness of existing sales programs. Additionally, recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. Responsible for participating, supporting, and maintaining compliance to the Company's quality, environmental and occupational health & safety policies, procedures, programs, and activities as defined by the Company. Position responsibilities include direct communications with employees, customers, or representatives. Duties and Responsibilities___________________ * Responsible for meeting sales team goals and implementing market strategies for Murray. * Responsible for all aspects of trailer bid preparation, which includes customer specification review, sales proposal preparation and submittal. * Lead the development of existing and new authorized Murray Dealers. * Develop sales and marketing materials and/or presentations for existing and new trailer products. * Responsible for coordinating sales trips to targeted customers/areas * Plan and coordinate all trade show events for Murray. * Participate in new product development and launches. * Manage and monitor social media pages for the Murray. * Responsible for approving all warranty claims, part return authorizations, and credit memos Supervisory Responsibilities__________________ This position directly supervises employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Education and Experience Requirements________________ Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the heavy equipment, heavy haul trailers, and/or heavy duty truck industries. Additional Requirements___________________ Current CA driver's license. Required.
