The position is an incoming & outbound sales calling position in which agents call individuals who have requested information. You will work directly with individuals, families, and small businesses reviewing specific benefit packages that fit their particular situations, and provide a solution from a portfolio of products. Once hired you will learn how to successfully sell health insurance through our training. QUALIFICATIONS: * Highly motivated with a positive attitude and proven track record in sales success * Communication skills * Skilled in using Windows PC applications including strong keyboard and navigation skills * Ability to prioritize work, with exceptional time management and organizational skills * Strong negotiation skills * Good work ethic and coachable/trainable * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * State Health Agent License or the ability to pass the State Health Agent License exam within two weeks of employment * Comfortable with flexible work schedules, especially during the OEP period * High school diploma or equivalent * Ability to pass a background check * Valid driver's license * Must possess (or purchase before starting) a laptop The State Department of Insurance may disqualify persons who have committed certain felonies from licensure. In addition, certain misdemeanors require a waiting period before applying for licensure. The department may not issue a license unless all fines, court costs, fees, and court-ordered restitution have been paid. Over 80% of the individuals who come to us have no insurance experience.
