Title: Sales and Account Manager Location: San Diego, CA Reports to: CEO About Us At Bambucha Kombucha, we are passionate about crafting high-quality, innovative kombucha that delights customers and promotes wellness. Our team is dedicated to sustainability, flavor excellence, and growing our presence in the beverage industry. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a dynamic and driven Sales and Account Manager to build and maintain relationships with key accounts, drive sales, and champion our brand in the marketplace. Position Summary The Sales and Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing existing accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities. This role requires a strong understanding of the beverage industry, exceptional relationship management skills, and the ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about health-focused beverages. Key Responsibilities Account Management & Growth * Build and maintain strong relationships with retail, wholesale, and distribution partners. * Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring satisfaction and retention. * Develop tailored sales strategies for each account to maximize revenue and brand presence. * Monitor and analyze account performance, providing insights and recommendations for growth. New Business Development * Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, including grocery stores, restaurants, cafes, and wellness markets. * Conduct outreach, cold calls, and in-person meetings to expand distribution. * Negotiate pricing, terms, and placement agreements to secure new business partnerships. * Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and in-store activations. Sales Execution & Reporting * Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue and distribution goals. * Track sales data, analyze trends, and prepare reports on account performance. * Provide feedback to the leadership team on market conditions, competitive activity, and customer preferences. * Maintain CRM and other sales tools to track progress and opportunities. Brand Representation & Industry Engagement * Act as a brand ambassador at trade shows, community events, and industry gatherings. * Educate buyers and customers on the benefits of kombucha and our unique offerings. * Partner with marketing to develop sales materials and retail merchandising strategies. * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless product fulfillment and customer service. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development (preferably in the beverage, CPG, or food industry). Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills. Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Knowledge of retail distribution channels, including grocery, food service, and wholesale. Passion for health-conscious and sustainable products. Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting tools. Willingness to travel for sales visits, events, and trade shows. Work Environment/Physical Demands * Essential physical requirements, such as climbing, standing, bending, stooping, and typing for general clerical work. Travel to clients or sales leads regularly. * Physical effort/lifting is light - up to 25 pounds up to heavy.
