General Summary The primary responsibility of the B2B Sales Manager is leading B2B growth within the organization. The person in this role will keep B2B top of mind to achieve chainwide B2B sales goals. This includes implementing B2B in each store, supporting B2B Champions and Salespeople, and ensuring all staff is trained and executing B2B tasks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Manage and lead B2B within the chain. Ensuring B2B Champions are in place in each store, B2B Salespeople have designated territories, Store Managers are bought in and store staff is trained. * Communicates B2B information, sales metrics and success stories throughout the organization. * Spends time in each store on a consistent basis in order to lead by example and train. * Budget and forecast sales, monitor sales KPIs to ensure the team is maximizing sales through the SALES process, motivates the sales team to meet frequent goals, monitors top or emerging trends in the market, and consistently works on sales strategy improvements. * Creates and updates annual training plans and works with store managers for plan development and to ensure follow through, oversees recording of training and development, and works with management team on Development Plans for team members. * Maintain monthly 1-on-1 coaching sessions with each B2B Champion and store manager, weekly meetings with B2B Sales Team, and help develop the entire B2B team through feedback and growth initiatives. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or, an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree preferred. * Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a retail or sales environment. * Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as being comfortable providing feedback and coaching. * Ability to provide motivation and leadership to associates storewide in a fair and impartial manner. * High degree of analytical skills, and the ability to delegate and be self-directed. * Deep understanding of retail operations, inventory management and business fundamentals. * Must have excellent attention to detail and follow up. * Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills. * Technically skilled in basic retail computer systems including related software * PC skills including knowledge of Excel, Word. * Possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with company's insurance carrier's standards.
