Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment, specifically within an optical store. You will engage with customers, assist them in product selection, and ensure a positive shopping experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage inventory will be key to your success. Base at $50k+ and commission.

Duties

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting with inquiries.
• Demonstrate product knowledge through engaging product demos to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction.
• Manage stock levels effectively, ensuring that shelves are well-stocked and organized.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and sales tracking.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor to create an inviting shopping environment.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance. Experience
• Previous experience in retail or grocery store environments is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is advantageous.
• Experience in supervising or training staff is a plus.
