Lucky Star Marketing is a proud family owned and operated business, and has been a leading agricultural grower and distributor of fresh Asian fruits and vegetables for over 40-years (through our founding company Lucky Farms). Our headquarters is located in sunny San Bernardino California and we have farming fields throughout San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. Lucky Star Marketing is seeking a motivated and experienced Inside Sales Representative with a background in selling fresh produce. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing customer accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional service to our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of the produce industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: * Customer Account Management: Maintain and nurture relationships with existing customers, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for account growth. * Sales Generation: Proactively seek out new sales opportunities by contacting potential customers, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions from our product line. * Order Processing: Accurately process customer orders, coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery, and manage any issues that arise. * Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, customer preferences, and competitive activity to adjust sales strategies accordingly. * Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings, including seasonal availability, quality standards, and sourcing practices, to effectively communicate benefits to customers. * Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and logistics teams to align strategies and ensure seamless operations. * Customer Service: Provide exceptional service by promptly addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. * Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress toward targets. Generate regular reports for management review. Qualifications: * Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of inside sales experience in the fresh produce industry or a related field. * Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the fresh produce market, including trends, challenges, and key players. * Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport and effectively convey information to customers. * Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with a customer-centric approach to selling. * Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously, and effective time management. * Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales tools. * Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated to achieve individual goals.
