DEX JOB DESCRIPTION * Job Title Sales Support Specialist Job grade * Job Department Sales Job Sub - Department Sales * Job ID SCTP Effective Date 04/28/2025 * JOB SUMMARY The Sales Support Specialist will provide administrative and logistics support to the sales team. They will assist in the daily operations of the sales team, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow. Identify revenue opportunities, qualify and engage appropriate contacts and drive leads through the sales pipeline. * ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Support sales branch by directing customers to the proper channels for issues or questions. * Prepare reports of business transactions and track all invoices * Provide hands-on support in a variety of marketing, administration, logistics (including quotes prices and credit terms) and prepare sales contracts * Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources. * Support the Sales Team on special projects. * Perform other job-related duties as assigned. * MANAGEMENT AND SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY * Typically reports to Sales Director * Job is not directly responsible for managing other employees * JOB QUALIFICATIONS/SKILL REQUIREMENTS * Strong communication skills both verbal and written. * Very detail oriented, data entry accuracy, and excellent organizational skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel * Organizational skills and ability to effectively multi-task. * Ability to connect with individuals at all levels. * EDUCATION ANDEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS * High school diploma is required * Bachelor's degree (B.A.) preferred not required * One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * WORKING CONDITIONS * Regular business hours. Some additional hours may be required.
