Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Clerk to join our Sales team at Tuckers Pawn Shop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with sales transactions, and maintaining a well-organized store environment. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a retail setting with little supervision. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. * Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system. * Perform checks on merchandise that customers are trying to sell or pawn to ensure that they are real and we are able to resell merchandise confidently. * Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are displayed attractively. * Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner. * Uphold company policies and procedures while ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. Skills * Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. * Spanish is a requirement so we can communicate with our customers. * Familiarity with POS systems for efficient sales processing. * Bilingual speaking is a requirement, enhancing communication with diverse customers. * Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management. * Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer calls professionally. * Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. * Ability to supervise and motivate staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
