About Us: California Dermatology Institute has a fast-growing bedside dermatology department, specializing in delivering high-quality dermatologic care to patients in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), assisted living facilities (ALFs), and other long-term care settings. We are expanding our footprint and looking for a motivated and strategic Business Development Manager to build out our SNF department from the ground up. Position Summary: This role is ideal for a self-starter with healthcare business development experience who can design and execute a growth strategy for our SNF-focused services. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying target markets, cultivating referral relationships with SNF operators and administrators, and ensuring seamless onboarding of new facility partners. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and execute a strategic growth plan to expand dermatology services into SNFs across target regions. * Identify and build relationships with SNF administrators, regional operators, and healthcare decision-makers. * Represent the practice in meetings, industry events, and networking functions to drive brand awareness and partnership opportunities. * Lead facility onboarding processes, ensuring alignment with clinical and operational teams for a smooth launch. * Collaborate with marketing and clinical leadership to develop SNF-specific service offerings and collateral. * Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to executive leadership on growth progress, referral pipelines, and partnership outcomes. * Maintain a deep understanding of the SNF market landscape, including compliance trends and industry challenges. Qualifications: * 3+ years of experience in healthcare business development, preferably within SNFs, long-term care, or mobile medical services. * Proven success in building partnerships and expanding service lines in a healthcare setting. * Strong knowledge of the skilled nursing landscape and regulatory environment. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. * Ability to work independently and drive initiatives with minimal oversight. * Willingness to travel regionally as needed. Preferred: * Background in dermatology, geriatrics, or post-acute care services. * Existing relationships with SNF networks or multi-facility operators.
