Position Overview: The Sales Support Representative will play a vital role in generating new business opportunities. This role focuses on researching potential clients, qualifying leads, and setting the stage for successful sales engagements. You'll be the first point of contact for prospects, ensuring that only high- quality leads are passed on to the sales team. Key Responsibilities: * Identify potential customers through research and prospecting * Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and pass them to the appropriate sales representatives * Maintain accurate records of interactions and lead statuses using Excel and/or Salesforce/Asana * Provide exceptional customer service during the early stages of the sales cycle Requirements: * Previous experience in sales support, lead generation, or customer service (preferred) * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong phone skills required for frequent client interactions * Strong organizational and time-management abilities * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills is a plus * Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities * Knowledge of the biotech or life sciences industry is a bonus but not required Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $19.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Health savings account * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Schedule: * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
