Join Our Team at The Poke Tea House! Are you passionate about creating delicious drinks, fresh meals, and providing exceptional customer service? We're hiring a Sales Associate/Kitchen Assistant to join our team and help deliver the best poke bowls and bubble tea in town!

Key Responsibilities

:

• Greet and welcome customers with a positive and friendly attitude.
• Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about ingredients, and provide suggestions based on their preferences.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and take orders.
• Prepare and serve bubble tea drinks with consistency in taste and presentation (basic training provided if needed).
• Assemble and serve poke bowls, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and portioned correctly.
• Cook tapioca pearls (boba) and manage other essential bubble tea ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness of the front area, including counters, tables, and restocking as needed.
• Assist in food preparation, including cutting fresh ingredients and assembling bowls.
• Ensure excellent customer service by addressing any issues or concerns promptly and courteously.
• Follow strict health and safety standards for food and drink preparation.
• Monitor inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients, communicating restocking needs.
• Promote special offers, new menu items, and events happening in the restaurant.
• Assist with packaging takeout and delivery orders.
• Maintain cleanliness in storage and kitchen areas, including washing dishes as needed. Experience &

Qualifications

:

• Applicants must be 19 years or older to apply.
• Prior experience in a customer service role, preferably in food service or retail.
• Bubble tea preparation experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of poke or bubble tea is helpful but not required - we'll train you!
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods.
