Job Description: Work in fun, high performing office environment providing State Farm Insurance and protecting your community, right here in Pukalani! This is a reception and customer service position at our Upcountry State Farm Insurance office. Our team consists of 10 insurance agents working together in a team environment to provide a high level of service to our clients, help them recover from the unexpected and protect our community. We work really hard to take care of our people, but try to make it a fun, energetic working environment for our team. The duties of the position include, but are not limited to: * Assisting in providing quality service to State Farm clients * Assisting with the agents sales and servicing efforts * Collecting payments * Answering phones * Communicating with clients via email * Communicating with mortgage companies, banks and auto dealerships * Working within a team environment Experience & Knowledge: * Experience in customer service and/or sales is desirable * Knowledge of insurance is desirable, but not required * Computer literacy is required Skills & Abilities: * Strong listening, oral, phone and written communication skills. * Ability to take initiative and act effectively in various circumstances without direction, managing your time well. * Self-confidence/perseverance/strong work ethic * Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability and ethical behavior. * Ability to accept criticism, maintain composure and deal calmly with stressful situations. * Ability to be comfortable with and sensitive to many different cultures and ethnic groups.
