Position Technical Sales Representative - Electronic Components Summary A global leader in aluminum electrolytic capacitors is seeking a Technical Sales Representative for its West Coast office in San Jose, California. As the U.S. subsidiary of a top-tier Japanese manufacturer, the company supplies a wide array of high-performance products--including conductive polymer aluminum solid capacitors and electric double-layer capacitors (EDLC)--to electronic device manufacturers across the United States. The position is focused on providing technical sales support, promoting products, and developing long- term customer relationships in the electronics and semiconductor industries.
Essential Duties
- Manage technical sales activities and serve as the primary contact for clients in the electronics manufacturing sector
- Conduct client visits to gather technical requirements and offer tailored capacitor-based solutions
- Promote and support a range of products, including:
- Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors
- Conductive Polymer Aluminum Solid Electrolytic Capacitors
- Electric Double-Layer Capacitors (EDLC)
- Coordinate with overseas engineering teams (Japan, Taiwan) to support customer projects
- Provide technical assistance from the design-in phase through mass production
- Travel to customer sites across the West Coast region (CA, OR, WA, AZ)
- Prepare proposals, technical documents, and CRM-based reports
- Represent the company at trade shows, product demos, and technical seminars as needed Working Hours, Working Style
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
- Hybrid: Up to 1 remote workday per week (subject to business needs) Working Location
- San Jose, California (on-site required with occasional regional travel)
- Please note: No relocation assistance provided. Candidate must be able to relocate or commute independently. Salary / Benefit
- Annual salary: Up to $125,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
- Annual bonus: Equivalent to one month's salary (typically paid in December)
- Annual salary review based on performance

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience in the electronics or semiconductor industry
- Technical background in electrical or electronic engineering strongly preferred
- Experience with electronic components manufacturers or distributors (e.g., Murata, TDK, Taiyo Yuden, Panasonic, Nidec, Elematec, ROHM, etc.) is highly desirable
- Strong presentation, organizational, and cross-functional communication skills
- Willingness to travel domestically as required
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship available under specific conditions) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
