Virk Properties in Vancouver, WA is looking for a Sales Coordinator to work in sales for our DoubleTree and Best Western Plus locations. Both locations are located in Vancouver, WA and our a short ten-minute drive from each other. We are looking for an experienced Coordinator ready for a new challenge! DoubleTree is a 98 room property located in a business park setting in Vancouver. DoubleTree is undergoing a full hotel renovation and remodel and will be boasting new lobby, restaurant and room designs along with our large meeting area. We do maintain a steady stream of business clientele and groups. Best Western Plus is a 76 room property located in the Vancouver Mall area. This location has a well established history and looking to nurture and round out the sales culture within this location. You will be working closely with the owners, GM's, revenue manager and District Sales manger to facilitate different group business, monitor incoming RFP's, and coordinating events for the meeting rooms with potential catering opportunities. Qualified candidates responsiblities will include; Internal sales efforts by responding to walk-in, telephone and/or email client inquiries. Administrative sales support such as documenting sales calls, setting up billing information, creating sales flyers, organizing accounts via paper and digitally. Coordinates group event details through Banquet Event Orders, Rooming Lists and other client requests Has knowledge of key accounts and maintains a strong relationship with them. Training on all functions of a Guest Service Representative; and can work front desk shifts if needed. Provide exemplary guest service to hotel guests Also to include possible desk coverage on an as needed basis. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.66 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week
