Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in our retail environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping customers find the right products while effectively managing transactions and maintaining a positive shopping experience. Duties * Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. * Utilize upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and maximize sales opportunities. * Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring efficient cash handling and adherence to company policies. * Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed and stocked. * Assist in inventory management, including receiving, restocking, and conducting regular inventory counts. * Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring overall satisfaction. * Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment. * Supervise junior staff or new hires as needed, fostering a supportive team atmosphere. Qualifications * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. * Strong skills in upselling, retail math, and cash handling are highly desirable. * Bilingual (spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse customer base. * Notary Public license preferred or willing to take * Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and relationship building. * Proficiency in operating POS systems and handling transactions efficiently. * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. * A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.
