Your Role As a Sales Project Manager, you will be the face of PERGOMATIC, leading clients through the sales and project lifecycle--from initial consultation to installation. Your ability to close high-value deals, manage project execution, and collaborate with design and production teams will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development
- Conduct in-home and commercial sales consultations, presenting PERGOMATIC's premium outdoor solutions.
- Utilize consultative selling techniques to assess client needs, provide tailored solutions, and close high-value deals.
- Market "turn key" pergola and accessory packages
- Achieve and exceed sales targets while maintaining a premium pricing strategy.
- Build and nurture relationships with property owners, builders, architects, and designers.
- Review and analyze all aspects of the project to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Work with 3D Design team, Operations to establish appropriate design and accessory upgrade options.
- Prepare estimates based on client product offerings.
- Onboard new clients
- Expand the Company customer base by converting prospects into new clients.
- Continue to maintain your existing customer relationships by providing a positive customer experience during the entire process - from initial contact through installation and acceptance of our work.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, designers, and team members to ensure smooth project completion Project Management & Coordination
- Oversee the full project lifecycle--from initial design consultation to permitting, production, and installation.
- Collaborate with clients, 3D designers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accuracy and timeline adherence.
- Manage communication with engineers and clients related to the permitting processes and compliance with local regulations, as well as the production team.
- Proactively resolve project challenges to ensure client satisfaction and on-time delivery.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams (design, production, installation) to optimize efficiency and client experience.
- Hold subcontractors and team members accountable for quality, deadlines, and budget adherence.
- Provide strategic feedback to enhance sales processes, product offerings, and customer satisfaction.
What You Bring
- Sales Expertise
- 3+ years of experience in high-end sales (construction, home improvement, luxury outdoor products preferred).
- Proven ability to close deals with an average project value of $50K+.
- Strong negotiation skills and a competitive drive to be a top earner ($200K - $300K+ potential).
- Project Leadership
- Experience managing residential or commercial construction/design projects.
- Proficiency in project management tools (Google Suite, CRM software; AutoCAD/SketchUp is a plus).
- Ability to read blueprints, understand permitting requirements, and troubleshoot installation challenges. Personal Attributes

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the Bay Area.
- Ability to lift 40-60 lbs. for product demonstrations.
