Overview
The Director of Revenue will play a key role in driving profitability and optimizing guest demand while overseeing revenue management, reservations, and sales. This position is ideal for a strategic and hands-on leader who thrives in an independent, boutique hotel setting and is eager to shape and execute revenue strategies that enhance The Eden's market presence.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Management & Strategy
- Develop and implement revenue management strategies to optimize room pricing, inventory allocation, and distribution channels.
- Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and demand forecasts to adjust pricing and maximize revenue.
- Oversee and refine OTA, GDS, and direct booking strategies to drive ADR, RevPAR, and overall profitability.
- Manage and enhance reporting processes to track performance, making data-driven recommendations to leadership. Reservations & Guest Booking Experience
- Oversee reservations to ensure efficient, accurate, and guest-focused booking experiences.
- Maintain and enhance the hotel's PMS and reservation systems , ensuring seamless integration with revenue management tools.
- Train and develop the team to increase conversion rates and drive direct bookings. Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies targeting corporate, leisure, and group business.
- Cultivate relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and local businesses to drive direct bookings and partnerships.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotions and enhance The Eden's online presence.
- Represent The Eden at industry events, trade shows, and community functions to build brand awareness and drive business.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
& Experience
- 2+ years of experience in revenue management within the hospitality industry (boutique or independent hotel experience preferred).
- Proficiency in RMS, PMS, and channel management systems.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to drive revenue performance.
- Experience in developing pricing strategies and maximizing direct bookings.
- Passion for eco-conscious and wellness-driven hospitality in a non-brand-affiliated setting.
