A Macomb County auto dealership is seeking an experienced Automotive Pre-Owned Sales Manager to join our team.

Duties

include but are not limited to:

• Oversee the operations of the used car department, including inventory control, pricing, and sales strategies.
• Manage and lead a team of salespeople and support staff.
• Develop and implement effective marketing and advertising campaigns to attract customers.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about current trends and pricing in the used car market.
• Evaluate trade-in vehicles and determine their value for resale.
• Negotiate with customers to finalize sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and service, to ensure smooth operations. Desired

Qualifications

:

• Minimum of 6 years pre-owned management experience.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate and guide a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Experience in inventory control and managing a large volume of vehicles.
• Proven track record in sales, with the ability to cold call and close deals.
• Knowledge of the used car market and industry trends.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation

:

• $100,000 - $150,000 average
