Description: * Early Morning, LLC is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The Sales Manager will oversee sales operations for both entities, developing strategies to increase market share, and build strong relationships with clients in the horticultural and nursery industry. This individual will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing customer accounts, and contributing to the overall success of Early Morning, LLC sales. Requirements: * Key Duties and Responsibilities: Sales Leadership * Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue and profitability goals. * Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to meet individual and team sales targets. * Monitor sales performance metrics and generate actionable insights to improve results. * Provide regular reports in terms of crop status and inventory information. Account Management * Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, including garden centers, landscapers, wholesalers, and distributors. * Act as the primary point of contact for high-value accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. * Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements, ensuring alignment with company policies. Market Expansion * Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the customer base and penetrate new markets. * Collaborate with the marketing team to launch campaigns and promotions that align with sales objectives. * Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote the Gardens Alive Farms & Weeks Roses brand(s). * Operational Oversight * Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts and reports to leadership. * Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. * Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to adapt strategies accordingly. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Experience * Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the horticultural, agricultural, or nursery industry. * Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. * Experience managing a sales team with a focus on motivation and performance improvement. Skills * Passionate and knowledgeable about the horticulture industry. * Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and nurture relationships. * Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. * Analytical mindset with proficiency in sales forecasting and CRM tools. * Knowledge of the horticultural and nursery markets, including trends, products, and key players. * Education * Bachelor 's degree (or equivalent experience) in Business Administration, Horticulture, Agriculture, or related field (preferred). * Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
