Full description of the position
Are you a driven, relationship-focused professional with a passion for science and sales? Do you thrive on building connections, exploring new markets, and closing deals that make an impact? Hyde's Analytical Lab is hiring a Technical Sales Manager who's ready to hit the ground running and grow our presence across compliance-regulated industries--especially pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical sectors This role is based out of Louisville, Colorado with significant travel (more than 50%)** You'll be on the front lines--traveling, networking, and showcasing how our analytical lab services solve industry challenges. As a key member in business development, you'll: * Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outreach, cold calling, referrals, and industry events. * Conduct in-person client meetings, technical presentations, and facility tours to highlight our lab's capabilities. * Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in pharma, biotech, and related industries. * Represent Hyde Analytical Lab at conferences, trade shows, and networking events. * Travel extensively (50-75%+) to engage with prospective and existing clients. * Maintain a structured sales pipeline using our CRM, ensuring data accuracy and consistent follow-up. * Collaborate with internal lab teams to align our services with client needs. * Develop weekly sales strategies and report progress to leadership. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field. * Minimum of 5 years of direct sales or business development experience in analytical laboratory services, biotech, pharmaceuticals, or a related industry. * A proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing high-value deals. * Technical understanding of analytical testing services and their applications in regulated environments. * Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. * A proactive, self-motivated mindset and the ability to work independently. * Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively for in-person client engagement. The Hyde Analytical Lab specializes in pharmaceutical analytical testing and validation services, helping clients ensure regulatory compliance and optimize cleaning processes through method development and validation, recovery studies, cleaning studies, and sample analysis.
