The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Small Group Benefits Account Manager to join our team. This position can report to any of our agencies located in Cranston, RI; Mansfield, MA; Needham, MA; Southborough, MA; or Farmington, CT. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is a hybrid position. * Responsibilities: * Primarily responsible for managing an employee benefits book of business consisting of clients with 10-50 enrolled employees. * The SG-AM works along side the broker and benefit analyst team to renew their assigned list of clients. * Maintain the company databases and working with outside carrier and vendors to provide day to day customer service. Qualifications: * Formal education in the form of an associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required. * A minimum of 2-4 years working in an office setting is required. * Candidates must be proficient users of the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel, and must be comfortable and able to take incoming and make outgoing phone calls to clients and vendors. * Applicants must be organized, efficient, and complete their work independently most of the time, but work collaboratively as part of a team, when needed. * Required to obtain an Accident, Health & Life Producer's License within 6 months of hire date and maintain good standing through completion of continuing education credits. * A background in group benefits, human resources or customer service are highly requested!
