Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our beach store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
• Provide product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits effectively.
• Communicate product knowledge clearly to customers to facilitate informed purchasing decisions.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately.
• Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels to ensure product availability.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring all displays are visually appealing.
• Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or directing calls as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance.
• Receive wetsuits to inspect for repair and give estimate for repair cost.
• Schedule wetsuit repair on calendar for pickup.
• Handle customer wetsuit pickups with cash and electronic payments.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work some Saturdays.
• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new skills related to sales techniques and product knowledge.
