As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales through effective upselling techniques, product demonstrations, and maintaining an organized store environment. Responsibilities * Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. * Demonstrate product features and benefits to enhance customer understanding and encourage purchases. * Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately. * Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise to ensure the store is visually appealing and well-stocked. * Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support in daily operations. * Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to effectively communicate with customers. * Perform basic math calculations for inventory management and sales reporting as needed. Requirements * Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required. * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers. * Proficiency in basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts. * Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus. * Ability to operate POS systems or willingness to learn quickly. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance customer interactions. * A proactive attitude towards upselling and promoting products effectively. * Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
