Sales Producer in Scarborough, ME. Description: A Producer is a sales position responsible for developing new business sales, as well as retention for existing clients.

Responsibilities

:

• Responsible for generating new accounts to meet assigned sales goal
• Being active in the community and networking
• Provides quotes and completes applications and all supporting documentation on new business
• Making sales calls to assigned group employer accounts, referral sources and prospects
• Responsible for retention of assigned book or group business accounts
• Keep informed regarding information: industry, products, coverages, legislation Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Must be friendly and highly motivated
• Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Requirements

:

• 3 years in benefits insurance, carrier or related business experience
