Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Specialist to join our team sell mainly cabinets and countertops on the floor. This role is pivotal in driving sales and enhancing customer satisfaction through exceptional service and product knowledge. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lighting sales and account management, with the ability to understand market trends and customer needs. You will be responsible for engaging with customers, providing product demonstrations, and assisting them in making informed purchasing decisions. Responsibilities * Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty. * Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits of lighting solutions. * Utilize retail math to analyze sales data, track inventory, and manage accounts effectively. * Collaborate with clients on layout design and renovation projects, offering tailored solutions that meet their needs. * Stay updated on market trends to provide insights that drive sales strategies. * Organize promotional events and in-store displays to enhance customer engagement. * Assist customers in selecting products that align with their requirements while ensuring an exceptional shopping experience. * Maintain a clean and organized sales area, ensuring all products are presented attractively. Experience * Proven experience in lighting sales or a related field is preferred. * Strong account management skills with the ability to nurture client relationships. * Familiarity with retail math concepts for effective inventory management and sales analysis. * Experience in layout design and the use of Sketchup or similar design software is a plus. * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with customers. * A passion for retail sales and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
