We are seeking a full time Insurance Agent to join our Insurance team. As an Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for helping current and prospective customers evaluate their insurance needs, recommending suitable coverage options, and selling insurance policies. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through the complexities of insurance products while providing exceptional customer service. Hours: Monday - Friday 8:15am-5pm 40 hours/week * Hours may vary based on business needs Essential duties and responsibilities: * Customer Consultation: * Meet with customers to understand their insurance needs and financial goals. * Conduct thorough assessments to recommend appropriate insurance and bank products. * Policy Sales: * Present and explain insurance policy options to customers, highlighting benefits and coverage details. * Close sales by securing agreements and processing applications. * Customer Education: * Educate customers on policy features, terms, and conditions. * Assist customers in understanding their coverage and making informed decisions. * Claims Support: * Guide customers through the claims process, providing assistance and follow-up as needed. * Ensure timely communication between customers and insurance companies. * Relationship Management: * Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals. * Provide ongoing support, including policy reviews and updates as circumstances change. * Market Research: * Stay informed about industry trends, products, and regulations. * Monitor competitors and adjust sales strategies accordingly. * Administrative Duties: * Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, policy details, and sales activities. * Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Non-Essential duties: * Answer phones as needed to assist office * Any other duties as assigned. Requirements: * High School Diploma or equivalent * 1-2 years of related experience in Insurance sales required * Property and Casualty insurance license required * Life insurance license required * Commercial insurance sales experience preferred * Experience with Insurance Management System * High level of professionalism * Proficient with Microsoft office * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * High level of confidentiality * Excellent organizational skills * Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act and the requirements of the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
